Hazel Walker Foundation believes every woman at any age should have the right and freedom to make their own reproductive and sexual healthcare choices. Our organization is committed to helping women access no-cost services and resources.
We currently provide free oral contraceptives through our partner provider, UroGyn Specialists of Florida, downtown Orlando. If you are 18 and older and need free birth control pills, call (407) 333-0496, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm.
FGM Reconstructive Surgery
Female genital mutilation (FGM) is the partial or complete removal of external female genitals for non-medical reasons. This harmful procedure can lead to severe bleeding, infections, cysts, and infertility. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 200 million girls and women from countries across Africa and Asia have undergone FGM.
Reconstructive surgery can restore the affected anatomy, but many women, especially in developing nations, do not have the finances or health insurance to cover the costs. The Hazel Walker Foundation offers free FGM reconstructive surgery to women in the United States and internationally.
